Public safety briefs: Carbon monoxide sickens workers in West Bottoms
KANSAS CITY Carbon monoxide sickened seven construction workers Thursday in a West Bottoms building being renovated into an art gallery. Workers evacuated about 1:30 p.m. from the structure at 1600 Liberty St. Six workers were treated at the scene and one was taken to a hospital.
