Local artist and photographer Joan Paulson Gage sees something special in the cats that populate Greece. They are everywhere, she says, and they are very wise. "You will find cats dozing on a taverna chair, nursing kittens amid the fallen columns of an ancient temple, greeting the fishing boats. They tell tales about Greek customs and myths, music, festivals, history and heroes," Gage says.
