I recently entered my first photography competition at the Black Mountain Art Show in Bullhead City. I won second and third prize. The art show also had a free competition for art students. This show was sponsored by the River Valley Artists Guild.

WDSRA receives art grant
The Western DuPage Special Recreation Association was granted $1,800 from the Hinsdale Center for the Arts to be used for both the Visiting Artists Program and Art Studio. Grant funding will be used to help offset the costs of the artists, materials and supplies for both programs and for hosting community art shows.
