When Arren Padgett exhibits his art next to Lyle Matoush, you know something special is going on. Matoush, who taught art for many years at Southern Oregon University, is a master printer and the godfather of art printmaking in Southern Oregon. Padgett, 12, who lives in Grants Pass, has been carving wood since age 6. He is displaying a Japanese-style woodcut print.
