Titanic survivor's items on auction block
Items belonging to the last American survivor of the Titanic are being auctioned off in England. Lillian Asplund was 5-years-old when the Titanic sank off Newfoundland in 1912, killing more than 1,500.The Shrewsbury resident died two years ago at age 99 after a life trying to avoid publicity about the disaster. She told a friend that it was bad karma to talk about it.
