Concern India Foundation is hosting Art for Concern — an exhibition-cum-sale of contemporary Indian art. The exhibition opens on December 13, 6.30 pm and will continues from 10.30 am to 4 pm on December 14 at Esquire,The Chancery Pavilion.

Photography Trip Nightmare. 8:04 pm. Our bus driver, Ernie, was going 50 mph down I-39 in Lostant, IL. We were about 5 miles away from the exit that would take us off the highway and on to the route home. There were several spun off and damaged cars in the ditches.

Overture Center cuts for 2009 include staff, Madison Children's Arts Festival
Things are tough all over, not least at Overture Center, the gleaming downtown art box. Overture's board of directors has approved a $5.6 million operating budget for Jan. 1-June 30, 2009, and there are depressing cuts in store.
