Art Walk a fundraiser for starfish
December’s First Saturday Art Walk on Dec. 6 will feature a fundraiser to replace the starfish lights that were stolen downtown, as Flashback will donating a portion of sales from “Save the Starfish” paintings to replace the decorative lights.

Scrapbook will provide memories
Blacksburg High School students are compiling a scrapbook to help a 2-yearold girl remember her father when she is older. Jared Harris was an art teacher at Blacksburg High for six years. The 36-yearold died in late October following a year-long battle with cancer.
