Art in the everyday - Daughter turns mom's prosthetic leg into project
The old is new again in a piece of art. The prosthetic foot became the ostrich’s head; the thigh became the body; and parts from Mom’s crutches became the legs. Pieces of a rake made up the feet. The entire sculpture is planted in a concrete base to stabilize it.
