Area artists win awards
Five area artists won prizes at the Guild of Creative Art's 16th annual Open Juried Show. Deborah Candelora, Colts Neck, won first prize in sculpture for "Earth Spirits," a clay piece evocative of organic forms, with a combination of smooth surfaces, sensuous curves and defined lines.
