Vacuum shop gets new life as gallery space, restaurant
Elyse Harrison, owner of Neptune gallery in Bethesda, stands in her new gallery space along Wilson Lane. Harrison and her husband bought the building in 2007, and have since converted the old vacuum shop into a three-story building, with a restaurant planned for the ground floor, the art gallery and office space.

Chico Glass Fest began Thursday at 1078 Gallery downtown and ended Saturday with an auction and dinner at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. Artoberfest included glassblowing this year for the first time in order to celebrate 40 years of glassblowing history in Chico.
