Faculty and alumni come together for art exhibit
To help celebrate the 40th anniversary of the College of Fine Arts and Communications, the department of art will present an Alumni Invitational exhibit in the University Art Gallery. The exhibit features work from prior faculty and alumni from the late 1960s, '70s and '80s and ends Oct.

SDSU grad and Watertown artist Joshua Spies has another feather in his cap. A duck feather. On Saturday, a Spies painting of a long-tailed duck was chosen as the winner of the Federal Duck Stamp Art Contest, and his work will become the 2009-10 stamp.
