New exhibits roll into town
By creating new exhibits each year, St. Joseph’s museums seek to entice locals to come back and take a second look. “Museums hold the threads of this community and tell the stories that make us unique,” said Marci Bennett, director of St. Joseph’s Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Aquinas Old Students set up Endowment Fund
Accra, Oct. 19, GNA - The Accra branch of the Old Students Association of Aquinas Secondary School has set up an Endowment Fund to cater for the poor and needy students of the school. The Branch is also putting up an art gallery where the art produce of the students would be preserved.

Dog festival downtown on Saturday
Blaze-N-Skyy Pet Boutique and the city of Asheville will host the second annual Halloween Dog Festival and Costume Contest from noon-4 p.m. Saturday on Otis Street in downtown Asheville in front of the Federal Building. The festival is a benefit for the Asheville Humane Society.
