Fun seekers to flock to Redbridge festival
THOUSANDS of revellers are expected to flock to what is tipped to be the biggest sports and arts festival in Redbridge's history. Next weekend, Valentines Park in Cranbrook Road, Ilford, will be transformed into a hub of activity with the Recorder sponsored Redbridge Sports and Art Festival.

Sheldon ushers in new museum director
After a seven-month search, the Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery has found a new director. Jorge Daniel Veneciano will become the next director of the Sheldon and replace Janice Driesbach, who resigned in September. He will be the fourth director since the museum opened in 1963, said Tom White, public relations and marketing manager for the Sheldon Museum.
