Vettriano sketch fetches £40k
A retrospective sketch of one of Jack Vettriano's most iconic images has raised almost £40,000 for charity when it was sold at auction. The artist gifted the sketch of The Singing Butler to the University of St Andrews after producing it while giving a one hour masterclass to students in 2003.
