YORK — The Nebraska State Hand Cornhusking Contest comes to York on Saturday, Oct. 11. Contestants will have a good time at the least of it. The best of it will be state championships for the fastest and best of the bunch. Another legitimate question is: What does York get out of it?

55 Best in Shows at 4-H Fair
At the annual 4-H Fair, held July 25 to July 27 at Chubb Park in Chester, hundreds of projects ranging from photography to live animals were on display for judging. At the conclusion of the fair, 55 projects were granted "Best In Show" Rosettes, the highest award given by 4-H.
