Lone Texan to Exhibit at Annual Burning Man Event
Texas artist, Bob Bacon, will be the Lone Star State's only exhibitor at this year's Burning Man art event to be held in the Black Rock Desert north of Reno, Nevada August 25-September 1. Approximately 300 artists from around the world will exhibit their artwork at the event which has an expected audience of 48,000.

Artists converge on town for Arts on the Common event
Anime is big. Just ask Shauna Leva, a 2008 graduate of Burlington High School and an accomplished anime artist. Leva was one of a dozen artists who took advantage of a preview of the third annual Arts on the Common Festival at Wayside Commons, Saturday, Aug. 16. “I’ve been selling my work since I was in seventh grade at anime and other events,” she said.
