Plimoth Plantation offers reward following vandalism
Plimoth Plantation is offering a $1,000 reward and a lifetime membership to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of vandals who damaged the replica Colonial village. Museum officials say the vandals caused an estimated $10,000 in damage. The vandals broke into eight 17th-century era houses and stole hatchets, animal pelts, steel armor and other household items.
