Mixed media, paintings and questioning reality
Jenny Jaskey Gallery's current two-person show of sculpture by Trenton Duerksen and paintings by Ryan McCartney is one of those rare pairings of young artists that serves both equally well. Duerksen and McCartney make works that are simultaneously humble and full of great presence, and the overhead lighting in this cavernous concrete interior is especially flattering to them.
