CNMI students excel in drama competition
Marianas High School sophomore Kyoung Min Park won second place in the costume design competition at the 2008 International Thespian Festival. Kagman High school sophomore Miki Nadia Dela Cruz finished in the Top 10 in solo musical theatre.

ADAMS -- John Maziarz of 11 Staples St., son of Mr. and Mrs. John Maziarz, won the second prize of $100 for his semi-abstract oil painting "Waterfall No. 1" at the 14th annual Great Barrington Art Show, sponsored by the Thursday Morning Club. Also included in the exhibit is an oil painting by Charles Reid of 10 Bieniek Ave., president of Smith Bros. Insurance Co. entitled "Morning Sun."
