Art camp sends gifts around the globe
Creating art and creating change sometimes can be done at the same time. The Art for Life Summer Art Camp, which wrapped up last month, raised almost $5,000 to help kids around the world. Twenty 10- to 14-year-old kids attended the camp, run by Mike Divelbiss, an art teacher at Brook Forest School in Oak Brook. They created artwork while learning about organizations that help less fortunate kids.
