An English artist's love affair with Malta
English artist Millie Smith unveiled her first Maltese exhibition yesterday at Cettina Cafe, part of Luciano Restaurant in Valletta. The 52-year-old only moved to Malta in April and has worked hard right up until last week to produce the eclectic display.

Third annual furniture art exhibit opens at Sharada Gallery
The Sharada Gallery presents through Aug. 31, its third Annual Studio Furniture Exhibit at 45 East Market Street in Rhinebeck. Sharada is the only gallery in the Hudson Valley that exhibits "studio furniture," a term coined in the 1930s.

Tubman exhibit highlights Brown v. Board verdict
