Pottery withdraws acreage from sale
Williamsburg Pottery has decided not to sell 1,200 acres in James City and York counties. In May, the company set up an online auction to sell the property. Bidding first was set to end July 1, but was extended to July 15 because of what the company called heavy interest. Yesterday, however, the owners of Williamsburg Pottery announced they had taken the property off the market.
