Joslyn Art Museum Names Sculpture Garden After Legendary Omaha Builder Peter Kiewit
OMAHA, NE.- Joslyn Art Museum director J. Brooks Joyner announced today that the Museum’s new sculpture garden will be named in honor of the late Peter Kiewit (pictured right, 1960) and the private philanthropic trust he created at the time of his death in 1979, the Peter Kiewit Foundation.

Artist eyes Lakeside documentary
Denver artist and photographer Christina Ianni fulfilled a dream one day a few years ago when she took a 1960’s era toy camera to Lakeside Amusement Park and started shooting. The artsy collection of black and white prints that resulted are on display now at Kirk Norlin Studio at 4428 Tennyson St.

Portland woman found guilty in sculpture theft case
The mastermind behind the theft of four bronze sculptures from a Portland estate has been convicted of aggravated theft and other charges. Kathryn Loundree, 37, will be sentenced next month. The other members of the scheme are either in prison or awaiting sentencing.
