Firefighters spark memorial campaign
Former Beaumont Fire Chief C.A. ‘Pete’ Shelton checks out a replica of the statue to be sculpted by Beaumont native Ron Petitt of Loveland, Colo., during the fundraising campaign kickoff Wednesday. The sculpture will be put in the plaza named after Shelton at the Fire Museum of Texas.
