Sculptors get set for annual exhibit
ST. CHARLES – Although Lambert Lucietto brought along friend Bob Brown to help, it took three men to move his “Trinitá.” The third annual Sculpture in the Park exhibit at Mount St. Mary’s Park was installed Wednesday, and Lucietto’s 480 pounds of steel and cement are part of the exhibit.

The city's giant riverside sculpture of a Potawatomi Indian, called Ekwabet, will celebrate its 20th birthday with demonstrations of Native American culture throughout May. The 10th annual St. Charles Fine Art Show, with 100 exhibits, will be held May 24-25 at First Avenue and Main Street.

Mothers transform bus into green museum
Instead of taking students to learn, the Clean Air Bus transports education to them. Downers Grove resident John Benish Jr., co-owner of a bus company, Cook-Illinois Corp., had an idea how to educate kids about such alternative fuels such as biodiesel and how kids can be environmentally conscious. So he transformed one of his company's 1,700 biodiesel-powered school buses into a mobile museum.
