Build a clay sculpture
Ceramic League of Miami Classes: The organization offers a variety of classes in hand-building and sculpture plus wheel classes, in which students can center clay to produce cups, bowls, vases, platters and teapots. Jazz fest lives up to its name
Just before the jazz concert began in Aspen’s Rio Grande Park on Thursday, there were empty parking spaces just three blocks from the tent. A light crowd was mingling on the festival grounds as Bebel Gilberto and her silky band took the stage at 7:30 p.m. to begin a delightful summer hour of music.

MARK STRYKER: Celebrated composers embraced scores of influences
