WWI pilot from Tenafly remembered near and far
A World War I aviator from Tenafly who died during battle will be honored today on two continents. The Italian town of Vittorio Veneto will dedicate a room in a World War I museum to Lt. DeWitt Coleman, serving with the U.S. Army Air Service.

GM River Days festival rocks
With ideal weather and a perfect admission price -- free -- girlfriends Rene Dubois and Shawna Evans picked a new place for their "Thank God It's Friday" as they got off work and strolled through GM River Days. Friday was the start of the four-day event along the Detroit River and Detroit RiverWalk. This is the second year for the festival, which wraps up Monday with the Target Fireworks.

Bellevue man gets jail for lewd acts
A Bellevue man is going to jail for six months for having sex with a picnic table within view of a playground. Art Price Jr., 40, 100 block Brinker St., pleaded no contest to three misdemeanor charges on Wednesday and was found guilty of one count of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles. The plea agreement wiped away two public indecency charges.

Multi-Cultural Festivel begins
PARKERSBURG - A large crowd turned out Friday evening to hear music, see crafts and eat food at the 13th annual Mid-Ohio Valley Multi-Cultural Festival at City Park. Bea Corra, one of the founders and board president, said the crowd at the festival varies during the evenings, but usually there are 1,500 to 1,800 people in the park for the event.
